Administration

The Administration Department, led by the Executive Director, with support from Operations, Human Resources, Administrative Assistants, Accounting, and Information Technology, oversees daily agency operations.

Disciplinary / Investigations

The Disciplinary Department oversees and executes the responsibilities of complaints and investigations, ensuring further public protection and licensee adherence to required standards.

General Counsel

The General Counsel’s office, provides legal advice during administrative hearings, handles appeals, responds to subpoenas, drafts legislation and regulations, and other legal matters for both the agency and the Board.

Licensing

The Licensing Department oversees the licensing of the 17 healthcare professions with KSBHA and handle all aspects of license processing, maintenance, and verifications for over 34,000 total licensees.

Litigation

The Litigation Department represents the Disciplinary Panel in legal actions against licensees and uses other appropriate channels to mitigate cases and monitor licensees participating in the Professional Health Program.
